The International Development Association has granted the Government of Sindh a credit through the EAD, Government of Pakistan, and the Government of Sindh intends to use some of the proceeds of this credit to pay the Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project (KNIP) under the terms of the contract for the consulting services.
The project’s necessary consulting services, referred to as “Consultancy Services for Operations, Maintenance & Long-term Sustainability of Selected Public Spaces / Infrastructure Projects Developed Under KNIP” (the Services), will include but not be limited to the range of work described in the Terms of Reference. - The Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project Project Implementation Unit, Planning and Development Department, Government of Sindh is presently inviting consulting firms to express interest in offering the necessary services.
- Prospective Consultants must submit documentation proving they are qualified and have the necessary expertise to conduct the Services. The Terms of Reference mention the short-listing standards. The duration of this job is three months.
- It’s anticipated that the services will begin in March 2023.
- Clause 3.16 and 3.17 Section III of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers of July 2016 (revised in November 2017, August 2018, and November 2020) outlining the World Bank’s policy on Conflict of Interest are brought to the attention of interested Consultants / Academic or Research Institutions.
